Upbringing
Raghu Giuffre is a 3rd generation Italian American, born in Los Angeles, 1965; childhood in LA and Dallas and educated in India after his Mother converted to Hinduism. Went to learn the Vedas. Traveled throughout India as preacher and performer of traditional song and instruments called Kirtan – ages of 11 to 18: 1976 – 84’.
International Missionary & Congregational Development
Served as a missionary, touring much of the world as a young preacher, with a focus on congregational development. This offered the first experience with mass marketing and the multiplier found in pairing assorted community players with services on global scale.
Misc. Experience
- Entrepreneurial junkie by day, writer by night.
- 20 million in real estate deals as a Realtor in a half dozen countries and cities: Russia, Slovakia, and US: NYC, HI, FL, CA,
- Import / Export companies: primarily in silk clothing (first to introduce to the US in mass), but also dabbled in helicopter part, airplane sales and boots/ shoes. Spent several years working retail, restaurants and 4 decades as landlord and Airbnb.
- Father of 2 girls and Hot Yoga addiction.

- All the training in philosophy as a global trotting preacher alongside congregational projects culminated with the first book: Economics of Love & Hate
- Punchline: When we talk of Good & Bad, we are actually talking of economic outcomes. The tagline: Greater the Vice, Greater the Price. Same again with Virtue. So began the 20-book series on social economic policy proposals called Raghu-nomics. (This is book #21)
